It is Clover's intent to promote its role as a responsible corporate citizen in the context of its B-BBEE objectives, by allowing preference based on the B-BBEE status of an enterprise. The underlying objective of the Preferential Procurement methodology is to create an enabling environment for B-BBEE enterprises to access available procurement opportunities within Clover and to add value to the supply chain. B-BBEE enterprises will therefore be engaged as:

principal suppliers;

joint venture partners;

professional service providers;

subcontractors, agents and/or manufacturers.
