Enterprise Development involves the contributions initiated in favour of beneficiaries, these being emerging farmers.
Overseas contributions are currently received from ICCO Cooperation. This organisation provide loans, guarantees and equity to viable projects with a social impact.
ICCO Cooperation is a global organisation working towards a world with out poverty, injustice and exclusion. Members of the cooperation are Edukans, Kerk in Aksie and coPrisma.
The objective of Enterprise Development is to assist and accelerate the development and sustainability to ultimately create financial independence for these emerging farmers.
RSA also introduces access opportunities into the Fresh Produce Markets.
RSA uses workshops on the market premises, facilitating market floor visits and formal instruction to empower these emerging farmers to understand the fresh produce market systems and this distribution channel in its entirety.
RSA has a full time employed Extension Officer doing liaison and field work. He offers workshops on the farms.
RSA Group in partnership with other parties campaigns to further empower and to improve the sales conditions of inner city hawkers who trades in the fresh produce.

Hawkers form part of informal markets located at: Kliptown, Bara City, Bree street, Alexandra, Hillbrow, Yeoville, Noord Street.
Facilities range from proper structures to open air sales areas.
The needs of hawkers are assessed. There is involvement in improving trading conditions and their ultimate service delivery to their own customers.
This is an ongoing project with the intention to roll out a blueprint to other informal markets.
